You are a high-energy, software sales professional who can identify and close Tanzu’s product and service opportunities. You are truly passionate about customer success and have active experience of consultative sales into Global accounts, with a proven track record to talk about. This is an exciting opportunity to directly engage our largest customers, bringing to life the new VMware strategy based on modern apps and Multi-Cloud.
As the Global Account Executive for Tanzu, you will be responsible for the ongoing business relationship, building new business and associated Services and managing ongoing revenue for our most high-profile customers. You are responsible for the overall Tanzu health and sales performance of your defined Global accounts and work in partnership with the VMware extended account team.
Required Skills / Experiences
Solid experience (10+ years) of selling enterprise software product and/or technology consulting with focus on IT
Experience using a consultative sales approach; proven ability to sell to business line and sell the business value vs. product is KEY
Ability to qualify, execute and close business opportunity under minimum guidance
Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Closed Multi $M SaaS/Consulting project
Ability to work in a highly matrix environment
Desired Skills / Experiences
Experience of dealing with C-Level and VP level relationships at large enterprise customers
Prior experience with Cloud-native technologies: DevOps, PaaS, Agile, Containers, micro-services
Experience of selling Enterprise applications in Java EE environments, Cloud applications experience would be an asset
